General Information

Opti Hockey Opti Hockey is an ice hockey skill development program for girls and boys age 4, 5 and 6. Children born in 2011-2013 are eligible to register for the 2017/2018 season. Proof of age will be required at first practice.

Opti Hockey will run from mid September to the end of March with some exclusions. Practices are one hour on Saturdays between the hours of 7:00am and 10:00am (rotating schedule). Games are on Sundays between 7:15am and 11:15am, again with a rotating schedule. The first six weeks are dedicated to practices exclusively. Half ice, non competitive, game play begins in November and full ice play begins in February.

There are approximately 20 children on a team with a head coach and 5-6 assistant coaches. Most games and practices are at the Stronach ARC on Wellington Street with a few Sunday games at St.Andrews College in Aurora. The cost of the program for the 2017-2018 season is $350 for Aurora residents and $375 for non-residents. Your registration fee includes a team jersey, socks, trophy, and team picture. This program is run 100% by volunteers. Please consider volunteering as a coach to keep this program strong.

Your coach will be in contact in mid September to let you know your team and schedule.
